Crime Scene Decontaminations must be performed by professionally trained personnel to ensure the safety of those decontaminating the scene and ensure that the property is safe for re-habitation. It is not abnormal to have areas outside of the scene affected from the victim, paramedics, and forensic personnel. We may also find bloodborne pathogens when performing a Crime Scene clean-up.
